August 31: Private Screening of "On the Move with We Cancerve" Kid-friendly event
By invitation only. Special guests will meet and mingle with the all-youth board of advisors of the We Cancerve as they debut their new children's television show on HarfordTV
September 1-30: National Childhood Cancer Awareness Month Kid-friendly event
Help us raise funds for the We Cancerve Pediatric Patients Assistance Fund at Sinai Hospital. All money collected helps children fighting cancer who are treated at Sinai.
September 5: Harford County Council Meeting Appearance
7:30 p.m., Watch for Zachary Gwiazda, chair of We Cancerve's all-youth board of advisors, as he presents the We Cancerve story and his team to the county council.
September 8: We Cancerve Board of Advisors Meeting
5:30 p.m. Members' only meeting. Mandatory.
September 10: Baltimore Ravens Honor Rows

September 22: Threads of Hope Delivery to Howard University
11:30 a.m. Washington, DC. We Cancerve Founder Grace Callwood delivers brand-new business attire donated by Jos A. Bank and Menswearhouse to students at the DC-based university.
September 29: Threads of Hope Delivery to Help Village
1:30 p.m. Perry Point, MD. We Cancerve delivers brand-new business attire donated by Jos A. Bank and Menswearhouse to residents at the transitional housing village at Perry Point.
October 1-30: SOCKtober Kid-friendly event
Interested in setting up a container at your place of employment, school or athletic club to collect socks for area children experiencing homelessness?
October 1-30: National Dental Hygiene Month Drive Kid-friendly event
Join We Cancerve Chair Zack Gwiazda as he collects individually-wrapped toothbrushes, travel-size toothpastes, dental floss and travel mouthwash for area children experiencing homelessness.
October 10: World Homeless Day Kid-friendly event
Join We Cancerve as we wear purple in remembrance of people experiencing homelessness, especially children.
November 4: Brunch Bags Stuffing Party @ Stevenson University
2 p.m. -5 p.m. By invitation only. We Cancerve's all-youth board of advisors teams with Stevenson University's Student Government Association on a major project to address food insecurity experienced by some area children.
November 4: Children's Cancer Foundation 39th Annual Gala
7 p.m., Martin's Crosswinds. We Cancerve Founder Grace Callwood, former CCF ambassador, will be a guest at this year's event. Tickets available at www.childrenscancerfoundation.org.
November 18: Family Volunteer Day Kid-friendly event
1 p.m., Abingdon Public Library, Join We Cancerve as we stuff Thanksgiving treat and activity bags for hospitalized children and children in domestic violence safe houses
December 2: A Holiday Giveback Opportunity at the Symphony Kid-friendly event
7:30 p.m., Bel Air HS. Meet We Cancerve Board of Advisors Chair Zachary Gwiazda and Board Member Sydney Thompson at the Susquehanna Symphony Orchestra's Jazzy Holiday Spirit Concert where they will share the We Cancerve message and collect donations for our Brunch Bags project. Tickets required through the Orchestra.
December 9: Do Good Drop In Kid-friendly event
10 :30 a.m., Abingdon Public Library, Join We Cancerve as we stuff 300 Brunch Bags for area youth. Be sure to bring a brand new bed pillow for Anna's House in Bel Air and/or a brand new unwrapped gift for children in active medical treatment at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda.
