11 a.m., Edgewood (undisclosed location). Harford County area members of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. and Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. will co-host We Cancerve's Snack Attack, led by We Cancerve's Nael Shakur, to benefit area youth. By Invitation Only.

Feb. 7  The PenPal Project: Kenya

We Cancerve members are kicking off their newest initiative, a PenPal project led by Grace Callwood, founder, for children from Kenya, East Africa. â€‹â€‹

March 1  Do Good Drop-In for National Cereal Day  Kid-Friendly

​10:30 a.m., Abingdon Public Library. Join us in collecting cereal and stuffing 200+ Breakfast Bags for area youth experiencing food insecurity led by Zachary Gwiazda, board chair. Donate here.

Mar. 6  National Dress Day Project Kickoff Kid-Friendly

We Cancerve is collecting new and gently-used winter, spring and summer dresses for teen girls in foster care. A project led by We Cancerve's Gloria Park. Contact us for details.

​​Mar. 8  Do Good Drop In/Snack Attack Kid-Friendly

10 a.m., Abingdon Public Library.  Join Nael Shakur, project lead, and the We Cancerve team as we collect individual servings of chips, pretzels, fruit cups, raisins, waters, granola bars and muffins to ensure area youth enjoy an after-school snack before dinner., which sometimes isn't enough food to satisfy their hungry tummies! ​​Mar. 28 Wreaths of Warmth: A Craft Project Celebrating Month of the Military Child 

2:30 p.m., Abingdon. In preparation for Month of the Military Child, We Cancerve's Gloria Park will lead an intergenerational project to encourage hospitalized children of military parents with cards and craft kits. By invitation only.

12 a.m., Edgewood Public Library.  Join We Cancerve's Natalie Deitz, project lead, and the We Cancerve team as we collect brand-new travel-size toiletries for area school students whose families need a little help with meeting their children's personal hygiene care. May 17 Crafts for a Cause Project Stuffing Event

3 p.m., Jerusalem Mill. We Cancerve's Gianna Sabatini will lead a project with Girl Scout Troop 4202 from Homestead Wakefield Elementary School to create craft kits for hospitalized children. She will be joined by fellow board member Gloria Park.

May 19 Comfort Care Kits for Children with Cancer in Ethiopia​

Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. We Cancerve is donating TransFUNers kits, first-aid kits and new infant and toddler pajamas thanks to donor Macy's to the Tikur Anbessa Specialised Hospital's pediatric oncology unit in Ethiopia. Led by Founder Grace Callwood, our initiative supports the Aslan Project.

May 31 We Cancerve's Pajamas Parade  â€‹

10:30 a.m., Brooklyn Park, Md.  We Cancerve teams with the North Arundel County Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc. to donate brand-new infant and toddler pajamas to the Brooklyn Park Community Baby Shower

Various locations.  Wanna help us make sure area children without stable housing have warm socks this winter? Support the upcoming SOCKtober drive, a longtime collaboration between the Harford County government, We Cancerve and a team of other local organizations.

4 p.m., Coppermine Bel Air Athletic Club. All of our friends who are children who use wheelchairs and who plan to participate in this event sponsored by the Harford County Public Library Foundation and the Coppermine Bel Air Athletic Club should stop by our vehicle for tasty treats.

​Oct 10  Pajamas Parade Stuffing Party 

Time, TBD. Howard University. Teaming with a campus-based organization to stuff baby bundles featuring our Pajamas Parade project for Mary Sick of the Help Maternity Hospital in Nairobi, Kenya.

Oct 10  Art with a Heart Microgrant Opens  Kid-Friendly

Applications accepted thru Nov. 10 to award one grant in the amount of $300-$500 annually to one public school in Harford County, MD, over the next five academic years.  The grant encourages students to conceive, plan, and execute a service project that uses artistic expression to benefit the local school community. Oct 24 Threads of Hope Closet I Restock 

12:30 p.m., Aberdeen, MD. We Cancerve's Zack Gwiazda and Gloria Park will lead the restock of our amazing clothing closet at Halls Cross Roads Elementary School. The closet provides brand-new and gently-used clothes for families of the school's community. Clothing industry leaders: wanna donate to a worthy cause? Save the environment and give us unwanted - but good - clothing. We always know who needs them!

​Oct 29 Pajamas Parade Delivery to Healthy Babies DC  

Founder Grace Callwood delivers pajamas to infants and toddlers at residential transitional housing program for teen moms experiencing homelessness and their children.

Oct TBD Threads of Hope Closet II @ Riverside Elementary School 

Joppatowne.  Local Boy Scout Samuel Park is building two new mobile closets for a local community school that will be stocked with brand-new clothes, courtesy of Macy's Department store. Project sponsored in part by Northrop Grumman.

10 a.m., Edgewood Public Library.  Join Violet Leishman, We Cancerve board member and project leader for this event, in collecting individual servings of ready-to-eat meal items for our Brunch Bags stuffing party.  Donate here

Nov 1  Children's Cancer Foundation Gala  

7 p.m., Martin's Greenbelt. We Cancerve is volunteering at this annual event celebrating advancements in pediatric cancer research. This is a ticketed event.

Nov 3  Snack Attack Stuffing Party 

Time TBD, Bel Air. Boy Scout Troop 564 sponsors We Cancerve's snack attack and provide delicious and nutritious after-school snacks to the Kenneth V. Hilton Mentorship Program.

Nov 5  An Evening of Gratitude: Community Foundation of Harford County 

5 p.m., Bel Air. We Cancerve Directors joins local philanthropic leaders at a Rockfield Manor reception.

​Nov 16  Brunch Bags Bonanza Kid-Friendly

Time, Washington, DC. Teaming with Howard University campus-based organizations for a day of service at the Blackburn Center, We Cancerve will stuff 150 bags of meals-ready-to-eat for Washington, DC area youth experiencing homelessness and aging out of foster care. Nov 20  Christmas in Kenya Project Kid-Friendly

We Cancerve is partnering with local organizations to collect coloring and activities books for youth and young adults ages 4-20, board games, and playing cards such as Old Maid and Uno for a major shipment to children at a rescue home in Kenya.
